State Treasurer Update

You’re invited to hear from State Treasurer Joey Spellerberg on July 17 during his visit to Fremont, NE. The event will be held at noon at the Keene Memorial Library.

Treasurer Spellerberg will provide updates on key initiatives and programs, including:

• The First-Time Homebuyer Savings Account Act (LB 803);
• Expansion of Nebraska’s education savings plan (NEST 529) to include skills-based training and credential programs (LB 748);
• Nebraska's Unclaimed Property Division, which returned nearly $20 million last year;
• The Enable Savings Plan, which serves individuals with disabilities; and
• StateSpending.Nebraska.gov, which tracks state government spending and revenue sources.
